Tips Cara Mempercepat Symbian
yang tercepat, tapi trik ini akan bisa
sedikit membantu untuk
mempercepat hp symbian os.
Berikut adalah beberapa trik untuk
mempercepat hp nokia
1. Atur durasi log menjadi 1 hari
atau apabila ingin lebih cepat bisa
memilih no log dengan cara buka
log, tekan options->settings->log
durations.
Log ini fungsinya untuk me-record
panggilan masuk dan keluar hp
dan juga untuk menghitung
besarnya penggunaan paket data.
Settingan default dari log ini
biasanya 30 hari yang artinya
semua panggilan dan penggunaan
paket data akan di-record selama
30 hari.
2. Matikan fungsi aplikasi lifeblog.
Aplikasi ini akan selalu di-load oleh
hp setiap hp dihidupkan dan
menggunakan banyak ram. Untuk
disable lifeblog, pertama dihp anda
harus ada aplikasi x-plore dan jbak
taskman untuk mendownloadnya
silahkan buka halaman thread file menager. Setelah semua sudah
dipasang buka jbak taskman, tekan
menu->tools->processes, dan
matikan process:
LifeblogDBSERVER.exe dengan cara
diproses LifeblogDBSERVER.exe
tekan menu->terminate process,
setelah itu buka x-plore pergi ke
c:\data\lifeblog\database\ dan
hapus file Lifeblog.db, setelah itu
buat file baru dengan nama yang
sama dengan file yang dihapus
tadi, yaitu Lifeblog.db, simpan file,
lalu set file attribute menjadi read-
only dengan cara difile itu tekan
tombol 6 dan berikan tanda
centang pada read-only.
3. Cara ketiga ini mungkin agak
sedikit aneh, tapi banyak orang
yang memakai cara ini merasa hp
nya menjadi lebih cepat. Katanya,
"mungkin ini adalah kode rahasia
untuk nokia".
Pertama, ubah tanggal menjadi 03
/04/2005, lalu buka calendar, tekan
options->to-do view, buat to do
note baru dengan cara tekan
options->new entry->to-do. Dan
isikan dengan ini

tekan tombol done, tapi jangan
keluarkan aplikasi itu dulu.
Lalu buat to-do note yang baru
lagi. Dan isikan dengan ini

Buka calendar dan buka lagi to-do
view, tekan options->mark as done,
begitu juga dengan to-do note
yang satu lagi. Keluar dan
kembalikan tanggal hp.

Cara Membuat Barcode Symbian
Bagaimana caranya? Begini, cara kerjanya mirip barcode yang ada di kemasan produk atau barang dagangan. Bedanya barcode tersebut di-scan dengan alat pemindai khusus, biasanya dilakukan untuk memeriksa harga secra otomatis. Nah, kalau yang satu ini barcodenya discan dengan kamera ponsel. Itu berarti, ponsel harus dilengkapi aplikasi khusus untuk membaca barcode tadi.
Setelah terbaca, maka browser ponsel akan menuju alamat atau link ke situs yang sudah diset sebelumnya. Link tersebut yang menentukan konten yang anda inginkan. Seperti yang sudah disinggung barusan, bisa diisi dengan situs blog atau alamat situs jejaring sosial milik anda.
Banyak cara untuk mengemas informasi lewat mobile barcode, sebagai contoh yang lebih sederhana adalah layanan milik Nokia. Di http://mobilecodes.nokia.com/index.htm , anda akan dikenalkan bagaimana cara membuat barcodenya secara online dan barcode reader-nya pun disediakan secara gratis. Baik, sekarang kita mulai membuatnya.

Langkah 2
Berikutnya, silahkan buat barcodenya. Via situs online silahkan akses http://mobilecodes.nokia.com/create.jsp. ada tiga tahapan yang harus anda lakukan. Pertama, masukkan link situs blog atau situs jejaring sosial milik anda di kotak “web adress”. Contoh di sini adalah situs jejaring sosial di Friendster.
Lalu, beri nama barcodenya di “Name you mobile code”, tapi ini tak wajib diisi. Setelah itu baru pilih ukuran barcodenya, ada S (kecil), M (sedang), dan L (besar).
Baru setelah itu klik “QR codes here” hasilnya akan seperti diatas.
Gambar tersebut bisa disimpan dan dicetak di kertas untuk ditempel di tempat-tempat umum.
Selain itu gambar barcode tersebut juga bisa disisipkan di situs lain karena anda juga akan mendapatkan kode HTML-nya.
Proses scan di ponsel akan berlangsung dengan mudah, aktifkan aplikasi barcode readernya lalu, fokuskan ke gambar barcode tadi, selanjutnya kamera tersebut bisa langsung membacanya tanpa harus menekan tombol kamera ketika mengambil sebuah foto.
Nah fungsi barcode ini juga bisa digunakan untuk mempromosikan produk/jasa milik perusahaan tempat anda bekerja.

Tips Cara Mempelihara Ponsel Anda
1. Instal aplikasi yang memang benar-benar perlu saja.
Ada ratusan bahkan ribuan aplikasi symbian yang tersedia dan siap diinstal, Tapi gak perlu semuanya anda instal kan di ponsel? baca dulu review mengenai aplikasi tsb, apakah fungsinya anda butuhkan dan apakah programnya bekerja dengan baik (apalagi untuk aplikasi yang masih berstatus beta yang terkadang masih banyak bug). Jika memang menarik ya monggo silahkan instal.
2. Cukup virus cleaner, tidak usah anti virus.
Akan lebih baik anda menginstal virus cleaner ketimbang antivirus, contohnya beselo forticleaner. Mengapa? karena Cleaner biasanya ukurannya relatif kecil dan tidak memberatkan system. Berbeda dengan antivirus yang "aktif bergerak", otomatis memakan banyak RAM ponsel. Apalagi jika dijejali banyak antivirus, ponsel anda sudah seperti sebuah sepeda yang mengangkut muatan 100 Kg, Hmmm jangan heran kalau ponsel lambat gak ketulungan.
3. Menutup aplikasi dengan sempurna.
Kalau anda sedang membuka sebuah aplikasi, alangkah baiknya jika menutupnya dengan cara memilih pilihan Exit atau keluar. Jangan langsung main tekan tombol merah (tombol untuk memutuskan percakapan telpon) atau tombol menu, karena aplikasi masih akan berjalan di background ponsel. Otomatis aplikasi tsb akan memakan RAM anda, akibatnya lagi tentu saja ponsel jadi lambat bahkan hang. Usahakan selalu pake exit untuk keluar dari aplikasi, ya sama seperti masuk ke sebuah rumah, masuk baik-baik keluar juga baik-baik. Jika sudah terlanjur memencet tombol merah, pake cara cepat aja, tahan tombol menu, nah nanti akan ada aplikasi yang belum tertutup tadi, silahkan tekan C (close) untuk menutupnya. Langkah ini lebih efisien.
4. Simpan apapun di kartu memory.
Semua ponsel symbian rata-rata memiliki kartu memory (Walaupun ada beberapa yang hanya mengandalkan internal memory). Nah baiknya semua file ditampung di kartu memory, karena tidak jarang masalah ponsel disebabkan memory yang penuh. Cut semua file yang ada di C dan paste di drive E, anda juga bisa mengatur penerimaan pesannya melalui pengaturan pesan , terus pengaturan lain, terakhir pindahkan dari memory telpon ke kartu. Dengan begini semua file yang anda terima dari sms, bluetooth dan infra red akan tertampung di kartu memory. Selain menghemat memory telp dan mempercepat ponsel, hal ini akan terasa sangat berguna ketika anda ingin mengembalikan data atau sms yang terhapus. Sesal kemudian gak berguna kan?
5. Cas ponsel pada saat baterai lemah.
Usahakan mengecas ponsel pada saat baterai ponsel sudah lemah. Hal ini baik untuk kesehatan baterai sekaligus untuk mendapatkan hasil yang maksimum. Juga jangan terlalu lama mengecas ponsel, kalau tidak baterai anda akan memuai.
6. Update firmware secara teratur.
Mesti tidak wajib, tetapi cara ini efektif untuk menhilangkan semua masalah ponsel. Jangan heran, setelah ponsel diupgrade firmwarenya, kinerja ponsel anda seperti ponsel baru. Bahkan tidak jarang terdapat menu baru yang tidak kita temui sebelumnya.
7. Matikan bluetooth jika tidak diperlukan.
Nah ini yang paling sering kejadian, kebanyakan virus mengandalkan bluetooth untuk menyebarkan diri. Maka dari itu segera matikan bluetooth jika tidak diperlukan lagi, dan jangan main buka saja begitu ada pesan yang masuk melalui bluetooth ke ponsel anda, bisa jadi itu virus.

5.Download file mobil yang di modif dialamat ini
6.Extrack file tersebut
7.lalu kembali lagi ke img tool tekan F2 ketikkan namanya yg ada di file yg diekstrak td
8.setelah ketemu klik kanan lalu replace cari file yang di download tadi ( perhatikan.dff/.txd) jangan sampai salah (Harus di replace keduanya )
9.Setelah selesai klik command rebuilt active

Nokia 5730
Lengkap! Music Ada, QWERTY pun Ada
Kategorinya memang ponsel musik. Namun kehadiran keypad qwerty menjadi nilai lebih ponsel ini, dan sangat bermanfaat untuk mendukung fasilitas email dan messaging. Dipermudah dengan homescreen menu.
Berbagai fitur dan kemampuan baru dibenamkan pada ponsel musik anyar keluaran Nokia ini. Tidak hanya musik, berbagai fitur berkaitan dengan produktivitas pun menjejali ponsel ini. Hadirnya keypad QWERTY seolah-olah ingin menegaskan bahwa ponsel ini juga dapat mengakomodasi kebutuhan office-centric.
Selain keypad QWERTY, hal lain yang terlihat menonjol dari ponsel ini adalah hadirnya homescreen menu. Sebagai shortcut, homescreen ini dapat menjadi jalan pintas praktis bagi Anda untuk mengakses beberapa keperluan. Seperti apa performa dan ponsel ini? Simak reviewnya berikut ini.
DESAIN
Mengusung desain slider, ponsel ini diluncurkan dengan menyertakan keypad QWERTY. Secara keseluruhan tampilan ponsel ini cukup elegan. Tombol navigasi musik yang disambungkan dengan frame-lite ciri khas XpressMusic masih terpasang pada seri anyar ini. Hanya saja, bodi ponsel ini terlihat gendut dan berat. Hal tersebut mengurangi kenyamanan saat menyimpannya dalam saku. Namun demikian, desain oval yang dimilikinya mantap di genggaman dan sesuai dengan ergonomis lekuk telapak tangan.
Pengujian : Menggenggam dan menyimpannya dalam saku.

Catatan: Mekanisme slidernya agak tersendat sehingga membuat bagian atas ponsel ini tidak dapat bergerak bebas.
KEYPAD
Terdapat dua blok keypad pada ponsel ini, standar dan QWERTY. Keypad standarnya sangat nyaman digunakan, responsive dan empuk. Sayangnya hal tersebut tidak diikuti oleh keypad bagian dalamnya yang memiliki susunan QWERTY. Selain tidak terlalu lunak, bentuknya yang flat kadang membuat salah pengetikan. Keypad QWERTY ini tidak membuat tombol penggerak atas-bawah-kiri-kanan. Jadi, untuk menggeser pointer Anda harus menggunakan tombol navigasi 4 arahnya yang terletak di bawah layar. Agak merepotkan dan tidak praktis.
Pengujian : Mengetikan teks panjang

Catatan: Pilihan font angka-huruf yang menyerupai bentuk digital agak mengurangi keindahan desain bodinya.
LAYAR
Layar TFT sebesar 2.4 inch cukup mengakomodasi kebutuhan penampil objek. Rasio kerapatan gambar 240 x 320 pixels ternyata mampu memberikan hasil gambar yang optimal. Mesin akselerometer yang dimiliki ponsel ini bekerja cukup baik. Perpindahan sudut layarnya memang tidak otomatis. Sudut layarnya akan berpindah bila layar digerakan ke atas (slider). Keadaan yang demikian membuat ponsel ini lebih nyaman digunakan dari pada mengadopsi sistem akselerometer otomatis.
Pengujian : Menampilkan berbagai gambar dan objek.

Catatan: Saat terkena sinar matahari objek di balik layar menjadi buram dan sulit dikenali.
MUSIK
Ini dia killer-feature ponsel ini. Detail suara yang dihasilkan oleh ponsel ini sangat baik. Komponen yang membentuk suaranya cukup proporsional. Equalizer yang membentuk keutuhan suaranya pun terbilang apik. Bass bosster dan stereo widening pun turut meramaikan khasanah variabel suara XpressMusic ini. Kualitas suara yang membahana ditopang dengan kehadiran speaker stereo menjadikan ponsel ini layak dipilih saat mencari ponsel musik.

KAMERA
Meskipun hanya berbekal 3.2 Megapixel, namun kualitas lensa Carl-Zeiss nya patut diacungkan jempol. Saat digunakan untuk menangkap objek, kamera ponsel ini langsung merespon dengan cepat. Autofocusnya akan membantu memperoleh hasil yang jernih dan terpusat. Ketika hasil jepretan kamera ini dipindahkan ke layar komputer (pengolah gambar) detail warnanya terlihat tajam. Hanya saja, aktivitas berburu foto menggunakan ponsel ini agak terganggu dengan letak shutter yang menempel pada bodi belakang. Saat shutter ditekan, bodi belakangnya turun mengikuti rel slider yang ada di dalamnya.

MESSAGING dan EMAIL
Membuat pesan pendek pada ponsel ini cukup menyenangkan. Selain mendukung penulisan panjang, ponsel ini juga memiliki beberapa fitur pendukung SMS. Salah satunya adalah pengaturan besar font. Denganya, maka Anda yang memiliki kendala pengelihatan benda kecil dapat teratasi. Email pun demikian, wizardnya akan membantu Anda mengatur push email menggunakan kanal POP3 dan IMAP. Ketika disambungkan dengan email korporat, pengaturannya pun relatif mudah.

Sementara untuk urusan lintas dunia maya, Anda dapat memanfaatkan GPRS atau 3G nya yang memiliki speed-rate hingga 3.2 Mb. WiFi pun tersedia pada ponsel ini. Jadi bila Anda menemukan hotspot tinggal nyalakan WiFi ponsel ini maka secara otomatis akan tersambung dengan jalur hotspot tersebut.

Sejumlah fitur seperi Music, People (Contact), Games, Email dan Calendar dapat terfasilitasi kemudahan aksesnya menggunakan homescreen tadi. Homescreen ini bekerja secara dinamis, Anda dapat menampilkan Contact hingga 20 profil. Cara gratis menggunakan Garmin Mobile XT di E71

Barusan cari2 tutorial buat navigasi gratisan untuk E71 gua, berikut rangkumannya. Untuk ponsel tipe lain dengan sistem operasi sejenis*; sepertinya bisa memakai cara ini.
*) Nokia 5700 XpressMusic, 6110 Navigator, 6120 classic, 6121 classic, 6124 classic, 6290, E51, E63, E66, E71, E90 Communicator, N76, N81, N81 8GB, N82, N95, N95 8GB.
1. Download Garmin Mobile XT di http://www8.garmin.com/support/agree.jsp?id=3939 atau http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=010-11034-00 untuk list versi lengkapnya.
2. Setelah selesai di donlot, colok hp dengan kabel data. Gunakan mode ‘mass storage’, JANGAN mode PC Suite.
3. Jalankan file yang kita donlot tadi, maka akan tampil installer untuk Garmin ke memorycard hp kita. Kalo langkahnya sudah benar, maka target install nya secara otomatis akan diarahkan ke memory card hp.
4. Setelah selesai terinstall, cabut kabel data; Jalankan file manager di hp kita > cari file GarminMobileXT.sis di root directory memory card. Kalo ga ada, coba cari di folder Garmin.
5. Sekarang Garmin sudah terinstall di hp, jangan di jalankan dulu.
6. Donlot peta Indonesia di : http://navigasi.net/goptd.php
7. Ektrak file yg barusan kita donlot ke hardisk.
8. Colok hp ke pc masih pada mode mass storage. Pindahkan ISI dari folder hasil ekstrak nya, BUKAN foldernya. Masukan file yang banyak itu ke dalam folder Garmin itu. Memang jadi agak berantakan sih kelihatannya. Kalo udah ke copy, cabut kabel data.
9. Buka http://www.noeman.org/gsm/tools-speedcams-voices/90735-hot-garmin-unl-creator-gyula84-updated-english-version.html (mungkin harus register gratis) Donlot dan ekstrak keygen yang diberikan disana.
10. Sekarang jalankan Garmin di HP. Pilih agree atau yes pada setiap pertanyaan > pada saat pertanyaan untuk masukan nomor registrasi > pilih pilihan yang paling bawah (sori lupa tulisannya apa)
11. Kalo betul, kita akan masuk ke menu Garmin, tapi karena belom di register jadi belom bisa di pake. Masuk ke menu konfigurasi/settings > about > liat nomor ‘Card ID’nya. Jangan di tutup dulu.
12. Jalankan file keygen Garmin_Unlock_Generator.exe yang kita donlot di Noeman.org tadi > masukan angka2 di Card Id Garmin ke kolom Unit ID keygen tersebut. Klik ‘GENERATE’
13. Setelah itu akan muncul angka2 baru dikolom ‘Software Unlock Code’ > copy angka2 itu.
14. Bikin file notepad baru di windows, paste angka2 yang barusan kita copy itu.
15. Save file notepad itu menjadi GMAPSUPP.UNL kedalam folder Garmin di memory card hp. (Tentunya SETELAH kita menutup Garmin di HP, colokkan kembali hp ke pc – mode mass storage)
16. Kalo langkah2 tadi diikuti dengan benar, maka Garmin Mobile XT akan sukses terinstall di hp kita. Hehehehe…
Kelebihan software GPS Garmin, gua ngerasa nge-lock satelit nya lebih cepat ketimbang Nokia Map 2.0 bawaan E71. Mungkin Nokia Map 3 Beta bisa memperbaiki kekurangan pendahulunya.
